The first time you flik the ball and it just keeps going, it’s genunely trippy. My brain knows there’s a battery and an electromagnet in the base giving the ball a little “nudge” every time it passes through, but because you can’t hear a motor, the illusion is 10/10.
The sound is the best part. It’s not loud, but it’s got this rhythmic clack shhh clack that basically ASMR for productivity. I have found myself staring at it during long Zoom calls when I’m losing my mind, and it’s surprisingy grounding.
